Benjamin suffered the injury in the defeat to the Chiefs, with the former South African Sevens star now unlikely to play against this year as a result.

Cameron Jacobs is the favourite to take Benjamin's wing spot, although coach Naka Drotske could call upon Rocco Jansen or Philip Snyman.

Benjamin joins Dusty Noble with his fellow wing forced off the field with damaged knee ligaments against the Lions.
