The England prop was charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with the grade C offence after an incident during his side's 46-12 Stobart Super League win over Widnes last Thursday.

As well as the suspension, Carvell was also fined £300 when he appeared in front of the disciplinary committee in Leeds.

The experienced forward will now miss the Wolves' Carnegie Challenge fourth-round tie at Keighley on Sunday, as well as the league fixture against Castleford the following week.
