Rebensburg finished her two runs on a deteriorating course in a time of two minutes 33.30 seconds, narrowly ahead of Slovenia's Tina Maze who following in a time of 2:33:36.

France's Tessa Worley could only manage seventh place, allowing Rebensburg to open up a 44-point lead in the event standings, having trailed her by 20 coming into the event.

Overall World Cup leader Lindsey Vonn came in 10th with a time of 2:34:66, but retains a commanding lead over Maze in the standings.
