Cornerback Allen, 33, is a 10-year veteran who made six starts for the Patriots' AFC East rivals Miami last season.

Offensive lineman Gallery, 31, was the second overall pick in the 2004 draft, spending his first seven seasons in Oakland before switching to Seattle last year. He can play both tackle and guard.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The Patriots, who lost to the New York Giants in February's Super Bowl, had already added wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, defensive end Jonathan Fanene and tight end Daniel Fells.
