Hills pulled the colt out of an engagement last weekend to take on the likes of Most Improved and Fencing at Headquarters.

Owned by Jack Hanson and Sir Alex Ferguson among others, the High Chaparral colt won a Lingfield maiden eased down by six lengths but would need supplementing for the Classic.

Speaking on www.charleshills.com, Hills said: "The exciting Forgotten Hero will go in the Craven.

"It looks like it's going to be a hot contest and he needs to win it to be supplemented for the 2000 Guineas.

"He's a very exuberant horse and Michael (Hills) will need to get him to settle in the race."

Hills is also looking forward to Ransom Note's attempt to notch back-to-back wins in the Weatherbys Earl Of Sefton Stakes this week.

"Ransom Note will bid to repeat his win in the Earl Of Sefton," added Hills.

"Michael rode him on Saturday and said he's in the same sort of form as last year.

"He has to carry a 5lb penalty for his Group Two win last year, but hopefully that won't stop him."
