22:07 Kane's hate shows no bounds |
Kane's hate shows no boundsHate campaign continues on RAW, with Cena the victimKane: Brutally attacked both John Cena and Zack Ryder on latest edition of RAW On the latest edition of RAW, Kane continued to taunt John Cena and brutally attacked both the leader of the Cenation and United States Champion Zack Ryder. The Big Red Monster started the second RAW SuperShow of 2012 by continuing to push Cena to embrace the hate. And it didn't take long for WWE's poster boy to respond as he charged the ring and a brawl erupted all over the arena and into the parking lot. However, the battle culminated in a stalemate when Kane did a disappearing act, which left Cena to ponder where the Big Red Machine had gone. Later in the night, as Eve Torres made her way to the ring to battle WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, the arena went red and Kane's music played. Eve panicked, unsure of what to do until Zack Ryder ran to the ring to try and help her escape. Both ran to Ryder's car, which suspiciously had a flat tyre. As a panic stricken Ryder set about changing the tyre on his car, Number one contender Dolph Ziggler battled 10-time WWE Champion John Cena in the night's main event. The ever impressive Ziggler used his agility to show-off and keep Cena from building any momentum early on in the contest. However, as Cena built up steam against Ziggler, the TitanTron showed Kane attacking Zack Ryder as the US Champion tried to change his flat tyre. As soon as he was free of Ziggler's attempts at a sleeper hold, Cena ran to help his friend. As he exited the arena, however, the Cenation leader was attacked by The Big Red Monster. The menacing Kane stood over the unconscious Cena and Ryder as RAW went off the air. SpeechlessLast week, Chris Jericho returned to the WWE on the first RAW of 2012. There, he gleefully greeted fans who welcomed his return, but Jericho left the arena without saying a word. On the second RAW of the New Year, fans had hoped for more from WWE's first Undisputed Champion. But as Jericho made his way to the ring to a chorus of cheers, he was overwhelmed with emotion and once again left the arena speechless. After defeating Kofi Kingston in a non-title match, World Champion Daniel Bryan offered Big Show another opportunity for the World Title at any time. The World's Largest Athlete was one step ahead of the champion, though, and revealed that SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long granted Big Show a no disqualification, no count-out World Title rematch this Friday Night on SmackDown. InducteesIt was announced on RAW that former WWE Champion Edge will be inducted in to the Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2012. The Rated-R Superstar will add another honour to his storied career when he's inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before WrestleMania XXVIII. Joining the Rated-R Superstar in this year's Hall of Fame class will be the greatest stable in sports entertainment history - The Four Horseman - including already inducted Ric Flair, plus Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, JJ Dillon and Barry Windham. WWE COO Triple H also announced via WWE's official website that Mexican legend Mil Mascaras will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame's 2012 class in Miami in April. Coming UpThis week on SmackDown, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan will face The Big Show in a World Title No Count-out, No Disqualification Match. See this plus a whole host of other bouts this Friday Night from 10pm on Sky Sports HD3. |
