Bundesliga round-upBorussia Dortmund beat Bayern Munich in crucial clash
Robert Lewandowski: Crucial goal for Dortmund Borussia Dortmund moved six points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after a crucial 1-0 win over second placed Bayern Munich. A tense encounter at the Westfalenstadion looked to be heading for a goalless draw until 13 minutes from time when Polish star Robert Lewandowski scored. Then Bayern were presented with a wonderful chance to take something from the game as they won a penalty with five-minutes left. However, Arjen Robben missed from 12-yards which means Borussia are on the cusp of regaining their title. Bayern remain six points clear in second as Schalke missed the chance to close the gap as they lost 4-1 at Nurnberg. The home side were 3-0 at the break with Hanno Balitsch, Timmy Simons and Daniel Didavi all scoring. Lewis Holtby added a latest consolation for Schalke, but Nurnberg still had more to come as Didavi grabbed a fourth. Bayer Leverkusen are in sixth after a comfortable 3-1 win over bottom-of-the-table Kaiserslautern. Bayer got off to a flying start with Stefan Kiessling scoring in the first-minute but the visitors were level by the break with Julian Derstroff grabbing the equaliser. The home side took control in the second-half with Simon Rolfes and Stefan Reinartz scoring. Hannover remain just behind Bayer after they claimed a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg with Ivorian Didier Konan scoring twice either side of the break. Hamburg are still hovering above the drop-zone after they were hammered 4-0 at Hoffenheim. Goals from Jannik Vestergaard and Sejad Salihovic put them 2-0 up at the break, and they added two more strikes in the second-half with Fabian Johnson and Sven Schipplock on target.
