Richard Hannon's colt was unbeaten at two but suffered a setback earlier in the year which means he's unlikely to be ready for the QIPCO 2000 Guineas at Newmarket.

The trainer's son and assistant, Richard, said: "I'd say Harbour Watch won't make the 2000 Guineas but hopefully there'll be something later on, either the Irish Guineas or the St James's Palace."

Newbury Start

Stablemate Best Terms is likely to start her three-year-old season at Newbury later this month.

Winner of the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and Lowther at York, she met with defeat only on her final start of the campaign, when fifth in the Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket.

Hannon jnr added: "Best Terms is probably going to go to Newbury for the Fred Darling. She has wintered well and did a nice piece of work with Hughesie (Richard Hughes) a couple of weeks ago."
