McCoist reveals Miller talksGers boss ready to meet American
Ally McCoist: Encouraged by talks he has had with prospective Rangers owner Bill Miller Rangers boss Ally McCoist has revealed he held talks with American bidder Bill Miller for the first time on Friday night. Miller is one of three bidders vying for control of the Ibrox outfit, with administrators Duff and Phelps hoping to name a preferred bidder this coming week. And McCoist is ready to book a flight to the United States to meet Miller in person if he is identified as the man administrators believe should take control of the club. Speaking after Saturday's 3-1 win over St Mirren, McCoist said: "I spoke to Bill Miller last night in a conference call for the best part of an hour, which was very encouraging. "I got the feeling that he wants what's best for the club, which is the most important thing. I had a good chat with him and he asked me one or two questions about the club. "The next obvious step would be for us to meet and I think that would be the case if the administrators give him preferred bidder status. "I would certainly fly over to the States as soon as (possible)."
