Vela hopes for Spanish stayMexican striker waiting to hold talks with Arsenal about his future
Carlos Vela: Arsenal forward is enjoying his loan at Real Sociedad and hopes to stay in Spain Carlos Vela remains hopeful that Arsenal will allow him to stay in Spain next season at the end of his loan spell at Real Sociedad. The Mexico international has struggled to make an impact during his Arsenal career and has started just three Premier League games for the club. He is spending this season on loan at Sociedad and has been in impressive form of late after scoring five goals in his last six games. The forward has previously admitted he would be happy to stick with Sociedad and is waiting to hold talks with Arsenal regarding his long-term future. EffortVela told Diario Vasco: "In every game, whether I play well or badly, I am not thinking about what Arsenal think of me. I give all my effort for Real Sociedad. "Afterwards I will talk with them and make a decision. The best thing is for me to enjoy every moment that is left. "From my point of view, from a footballing and lifestyle standpoint it is better to stay in this league. "I have a contract with an English team and if I have to return there I will adapt, but if I could stay here I would be happier."
